(Route 12, Better Val-U Plaza) Plainfield, CT 06374 (860) 564-7760 mairescenter@sbcglobal.net Please call to pre-register ABOUT Usui REIKI: Pronounced ray-key, reiki comes from Japanese words; “Rei” meaning universal & “Ki” or life force. The introduction of this ancient technique of assisting the moving of the life energy around and within us to aid in the healing of our bodies can be attributed to Dr. Mikao Usui who “discovered” Reiki in the early 1900's. Classes in four levels are offered…descriptions are as follows: Usui Reiki level I...cost $150: Two, three hour sessions for a total of six hours. Consisting of; a Reiki attunement, definitions of Reiki energy, a discussion of chakras, auras and energy centers, a meditation assisting in the discovery of the chakra system, a history lesson regarding the origin of Reiki followed by practicing hand placements for self treatment and practicing on others, an explanation of healing guides/meditation to meet your guide(s). Reiki I students should become comfortable in placing their hands on clients and therefore hands on class participation is practiced and encouraged. Usui Reiki level II...cost $150: Two, three hour sessions for a total of six hours. The first class day will cover two of the three symbols which enhance the Reiki energy followed by the Reiki II attunement. Then we practice the power and mental enhancing symbols on each other. The second day we learn to draw and work with the distance symbol. We practice using this new symbol on each other as well as beaming energy. Must have completed level I before taking level II. Usui Reiki level III/Master Practitioner...cost $200: This class is set up to be held through two classes. The students will receive a fourth symbol, the master symbol, which will enhance their ability to move energy. Will also learn how to use crystals, set up a crystal grid, explore psychic surgery, and walk deeper into mediating through the use of Reiki energy. Must have completed level II before taking level III. Usui Reiki Master/Teacher...cost $350: Requires two, six hour sessions. Students will learn two more symbols as well as how to attune and teach others. Students will also receive an attunement and have ample opportunity to practice. Manual provided. Must have completed level III (or ART) Please bring your ideas on how you want to teach Reiki to others. The Karuna Reiki program is taught by those who are registered with The International Center for Reiki Training. Reiki Certificates will be issued by the Center with a registration number and students will be required to abide by a code-of-ethics and to use the Center’s teaching standards. The word Karuna is Sanskrit that means compassionate action. William Lee Rand experimented with symbols that others had channeled and, with the cooperation of Kuan Yin, established the Karuna Reiki program. Students looking to learn Karuna Reiki must have first received the Usui Master symbol and have been practicing with said symbol for at least 6 months. This is necessary so that the student’s energy field will be able to accept the higher frequency energies of Karuna Reiki. REGISTERED KARUNA I PRACTITIONER...cost $150: This class is taught as two, three hour long classes. A manual will be provided and the student will be attuned to four new symbols. Class time will be spent learning about Kuan Yin, the Karuna energy, a meditation and, of course, lots of practice time. REGISTERED KARUNA II PRACTITIONER...cost $150: This class is taught as two, three hour long classes. The same manual as in level will be used. An attunement will be followed by learning yet four more symbols to enhance the Reiki energy. Meditation, chanting and toning will also be utilized. REGISTERED KARUNA REIKI MASTER...cost $350: This class is taught as two, 6 hour long classes. Students will be provided with a training manual and will receive another attunement plus learn one more symbol. Class time will be spent discussing teaching & attunement techniques as well as practice and meditation. ~ Contact me about organizing classes through your own space ~ 10 CLASSES, WORKSHOPS or GATHERINGS that Suzy is available to share: 1) ACKNOWLEDGING YOUR FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN: As shared in her book, The Skeptic Psychic, while developing as a medium, Suzy would sit in circle, or séances, actively looking to contact spirit and feel perfectly comfortable. But later, when she’d go home that night she’d often time wake up in her bedroom, sensing spirit in the room and instantly feel uncomfortable or afraid. Spend an evening with Suzy and briefly discuss why it is normal to fear the unknown and enjoy a meditation to help overcome those fears. 2) 2012 AN ASCENSION INTO A NEW DIMENSION is an exploration, discussion and guided meditation into the theories and realities regarding the maturing earth. Bring your questions and discover if we are, indeed, on the threshold of a new age and a new dimension of existence. 3) ANIMAL COMMUNICATION GATHERING: Suzy will read the energy of your pet through the use of photographs while in a group setting. Bring your questions as Suzy taps into your pet's energy and enjoy two hours of discovery as all share in the experience. 4) ANIMAL COMMUNICATION WORKSHOP…is an introductory course designed to demonstrate how to tap into the consciousness of animals. Bring a few photographs of your pet and be prepared to practice tuning into the animal's thoughts. You may be amazed at your own abilities! 5) HEALING WITH TIBETAN BOWLS WORKSHOP: Sound, whether through song or instrument, is a wonderful way to heal. Come and join Suzy for a fun filled evening using Tibetan bowls. Everyone will have a chance to try singing, gonging and listening to the healing energy of the bowls. Tibetan bowls will be provided to use but you are welcome to BYOB (bring your own bowls). 6) HOW TO USE ANGEL OR ORACLE CARDS…Angel Cards and Oracle Cards are valuable tools in developing mediumship and can provide daily inspiration or support for personal life situations. Learn how to tap into the energy of the cards and expand your consciousness. 7) COLOR MEDITATION WORKSHOP is an introduction into the concept of chakras or energy centers as well as a tool for learning how to meditate. Discover a practice, a method of meditation, which will enhance your ability to open up your energy centers through the use of the colors of the rainbow. 8) CRYSTAL MEDITATION WORKSHOP can help you to learn to train yourself, your being, to shift faster into a meditative state by programming crystals to assist. Learn how to use the human body as a crystal grid and to enhance the energy flow through the use of symbols which you may discover through guided meditation. Open to all but recommend having an understanding of the chakra system. 9) ANIMAL GUIDES AND SHIFTING WITH CRYSTALS WORKSHOP explores further use of crystals through the association of a stone with animal guides. Enjoy a presentation regarding shifting and participate in guided meditations into the Other World and the Upper World. Open to all but recommend having an understanding of the chakra system. 10) ARCHANGEL WORKSHOP: Working with the Archangels for protection, cleansing & enlightenment… this threefold workshop utilizes; envisioning, inspirational writing and meditation to enhance and expand your reality. ***Classes/Workshops are 1 ½ to 2 hours long and are priced at $75 per presentation. | Working with Crystals & Human Grids;A set of workshops focused on clearing chakras and aligning energy to aid in the ability to meditate into other realities with Suzy Graf @ Marie’s Fitness & Massage Center 661 Norwich Rd., Route 12 (Better Value Plaza) Plainfield, CT 06374 (860) 564-7760 www.mariescenter.com Thursday Evenings from 7:15PM-8:45PM… $12 per class or $40 for all April 25; Setting up a crystal grid… Learn how to envision color as an aid to open chakras and align the energy traveling through the human form. Set up a simple grid of three crystals to hold the energy of your space. No experience necessary. Bring your own crystals or use ours. May 2; Using crystals to receive impressions… Delve further into the use of crystals by placing 7-9 small points of similar energy on your chakras. Learn about spirit guides and travel to the void. Bring your favorite crystal(s), or use ours. May 9; Shifting with Crystals… In this class we introduce even more crystals by replacing one of the chakra stones with a different type of stone. Journey with this new crystal and discover who it harmonizes with. You may bring your own stones or use ours. May 16; Advancing through crystal grid work… In this last class we practice with symbols that may, in time, replace the work of the crystals. We will talk about other crystal grid placements and, of course, practice and share. With time your ability to lapse into a meditation state will become faster and easier. It is not necessary for you to pre-purchase stones for these classes. But if you want to bring your own crystals, here is an idea of the proposed crystals used for each class: ~This series of classes builds on the previous week’s experience, and grid work with crystals. You may join any, or all, of the classes.~ April 25/Crystal Grid: Three large points, or clusters, or Geodes. The intent is to use the same three stones within your meditation area at home to “hold the space” while meditating. May 2/Human Grid: Still using original three crystals PLUS nine smaller quartz crystal “points” of similar origin; one crystal for each of your seven chakras and one to hold in each hand. I will share my Arkansas, Brazilian, and/or Tibetan points for you to experiment with. May 9/Shifting with Crystals: This class will use the three “space holding” crystals, PLUS eight of the smaller stones. If you chose, you may bring in ANY stone(s) you want to explore. By setting up the same human grid from the previous week, you may explore what the new stone has to reveal. If time permits we may be able to explore three different “new” stones. May 16/Exploring other grid placements: The purpose of this class is to use the original three stones to “hold the space,” and to slowly wean your body off the need for the smaller chakra stones by envisioning symbols to open the chakras. If you have larger points that you like to hold in your palms, you can experiment with their energy this evening. |
