The Pet Psychic Introduction

“The Pet Psychic is an interactive explanation, partially channeled from a spirit guide, about how to develop as an Animal Communicator. A retired Animal Communicator with twenty years in the field, Suzy shares her experiences, various theories behind unseen forces, and exercises to practice – a memoir written to inspire, entertain and ponder.”

The above is the description to be filed within Cataloging-in-Publication (CIP) data of the Library of Congress book descriptions. The Pet Psychic, the sixth book that I have published, should be available in print, audio and digitally for the public to buy this coming May or June. Birthing a new book is not an easy process. Looking back, it took me three years from initiating my first copyright to when I finally self-published The Skeptic Psychic in 2010. Three years of licking my wounds after failed attempts to be accepted by a traditional publisher, let alone a literary agent. There were too many obstacles to overcome as I struggled to; create a website, develop a platform, learn about promotion, ask friends to edit the manuscript over, and over, and over again. I acknowledge that I don’t write literary masterpieces. Instead, my purpose is to supply ideas, and concepts that share a story written to inspire the reader to move forward on his or her own quest for truth.

I’m not complaining about the struggle I went through over fifteen years ago. Quite the contrary, writing and self-publishing have been a weird, wonderful and quirky journey. Luckily, computers have advanced over the years. Instead of worrying about constantly saving my information onto a disc so I wouldn’t lose what I had written because my computer had crashed, I now type knowing that there is something called “cloud storage” that magically saves my information. Even the writing programs have evolved. We now have artificial intelligence which can not only seek out grammatical and spelling errors but also write prose. That is unless you disable it because the constant stream of underlined blue words drives you nuts when you are channeling information. This accelerated phase of technological development has left me in a quandary.

I’m tempted, and most likely in the future I will go back and re-edit all my earlier works. But first, I want to perfect what I feel needs to be published. The Pet Psychic’s manuscript is in the adept hands of a professional editor. I’m excited to see my sixth memoir birthed into near perfection, just as I’m eager to share the finished product with you the reader. I’m creating these 22 blogs to introduce the public to my book. Blogs that my website will be programed to regurgitate, every other Tuesday, throughout 2026. I am not writing this book as a recipe to follow that will train future psychics, but rather as an explorative explanation of how you can personally develop into a psychic. I’m sharing my journey to inspire you to find your own. A privilege we all have IF you chose to do so.

Having the abilities that I now possess, and knowing what I know now is not knowledge I want to hoard. Quite the contrary, I am eager to share what I have experienced. This is why I’ve published my previous four books on Psychic Awareness, mostly written while I was learning about psychic phenomena. Expanding oneself into a state of mind that achieves love and bliss in order to merge with the consciousness of an animal is now a behavior I easily lapse into. I know what I can do, and yet my mind would freeze every time I tried to explain HOW Animal Communication could work. Best to allow the few paragraphs that opens Chapter One in The Pet Psychic to further describe what I’m trying to write in this blog…

“Explaining a process, such as Animal Communication, to a person who has not necessarily developed this said ability is rather complex. I don’t always think in linear time, just as many people don’t have dreams that unfold in a linear reality. Dreaming, being psychic, or creative, is transcending the logical mind that is thinking about all the steps needed that will lead up to a conclusion, and to simply reach said conclusion. This ability to step beyond what the logical mind has been trained to believe is what I refer to as expanding one’s awareness. Thinking past all the steps society has taught us is needed to achieve a desired outcome, and to allow your awareness to expand into that of knowledge.

And yet the fledgling mind may have trouble grasping at this prospect if one has yet to achieve an expanded state. Therefore, I will allow this book to be channeled in tandem with my spirit guide, Yellow Dog’s, wisdom in linear time, trusting that sharing the dates of when I transcribed these concepts into the computer will help you, as the reader of this text, to keep your grounded awareness of linear time, as you expand into that reality of your imagination…”

This is but a sample of the writing style I use in The Pet Psychic; a channeled theory of how this stuff works. I hope you return in a few weeks to peruse more of this chapter as Yellow Dog shares his perspective on Heart Brain Awareness. For now, here is a peek at the summary that will be found on the book’s back cover:

Anyone can develop their psychic self. All it takes is practice, patience and most of all, perspective. I believe this, I have lived this, and yet I struggled with explaining to others the art of Animal Communication. That is until I allowed my spirit guide, Yellow Dog, to share his perspective on the matter. Yes, I believe in spirit guides; unseen helper beings who inspire wisdom I honestly never thought of before the words flowed out of my fingertips. Follow along as Yellow Dog and I touch upon various topics throughout this book. We question; what is awareness and the fifth dimension, how to journey with a spirit animal, understanding the human frequency, greeting and working with spirit and animal guides, how to create and use a Sacred Space, how to greet the energy of Mother Earth and finally, place all these aspects into a working plan to develop one’s ability to communicate with a pet, horse or even the consciousness of a species.

Suzy is a retired Animal Communicator and Energy Healer with over twenty years of experience. She resides on a small New England farm with her husband, horses, dogs, cats, sheep, chickens and peacocks. When not riding horses or working on the farm, she’s writing Psychic Awareness Memoirs that chronical her unique paranormal experiences. Website; www.jasmineplane.com
