I encourage you, the reader, to establish a routine when you practice meditation. This doesn’t need to be a long and drawn-out duty. Quite the contrary, I simply practiced for thirty minutes, usually daily, after dinner. This habit of meditating daily became as automatic to me as feeding my livestock their dinner.
It didn’t go through any grand ritual. I’d simply eat, clean up the dishes, and then go up to lie on my bed in a darkened room. I still wasn’t convinced I was completely safe with my solitary meditation experiment, so just in case, I’d make sure my husband was aware of what I was doing, and if I did not come back downstairs at a certain time, usually during the beginning of specific television show he liked to watch with me, that he should come upstairs to wake me up. You could use a cell phone or kitchen timer if you want. Yellow Dog agrees:
Develop your own practice, find your special frequency that orchestrates the goals, the intentions that you desire from your meditation practice. This is the purpose. And rest assured that the physical body is amazing. A “knowing” will emerge as to when your specified allotted time is drawing near.
I developed this ability to set an “internal timer.” At first, Greg, my husband, would sometimes startle me “awake” because my early meditation attempts were more of an after-dinner nap. But after about a week, I began to lapse into meditation more frequently before I’d nap. But, curiously, I’d “wake up” moments before Greg would check on me. This meditation practice was rather easy to devote time to during the cold, dark months of winter. But when daylight played longer, I meditated in the evening less so I could enjoy my outdoor third- and fourth-dimensional activities with my family.
This was when I began to receive “messages” in dreams. Remember, I wanted to learn, so I would set out an intention, usually a question, before I was ready to go to sleep at night. Sometimes I would meditate before sleeping, but being on a farm, I was usually too tired from early spring farm chores to stay awake. My asleep time wasn’t really interrupted, for I had trained myself to simply roll over, jot down a few ideas, and then go back to sleep. Learning to write in a journal in the dark is a useful tool to rely upon if you want to remember. Yellow Dog speaks:
Dreams, especially messages received while in a deep state of dreaming, can be full blown fifth dimension experiences full of knowledge and insight. By training yourself to roll over and record an experience in a dream journal in a darkened room, you will be able to remain in a semi-sleep state and should be able to return to sleep, receive more information, awaken enough to record, then return to sleep. This is the start of developing a semi-trance state.
I totally agree. My purpose for understanding what spirits had to relay in dreams began as a path to “get rid of them.” But the more I learned, the more curious I became. Some of the dreams were so vivid, the information so obvious, the environment so detailed, that I began to research if I was receiving some historical fact that I never knew before. I never entered meditation practice to become enlightened. I was raised with the belief that the ecstasy of an expanded state was reserved for the chosen few who devote their life toward serving God. Achieving an enlightened state for me was, well, enlightening! Yellow Dog advises:
Perhaps you, the reader of this text, were born with a foot in the realm of the fifth dimension. Perhaps you have already worked toward and experienced the fifth dimension. Or maybe, stepping into fifth dimension awareness has already spontaneously occurred. Whatever your unique path into advancement of awareness, we want you to be a willing partner of these possibilities. It is your choice if and how to proceed.
If you chose to proceed and expand your being into another reality, then this is good. If you choose to be but an observer, reading this text with a sense of wonder, but not intending on sampling any of our suggestions, then this is also a good choice. You are unique to your desires and expectations. Rest assured that there are higher frequencies, vibrations that Suzy calls Spirit Guides, that are ever present—always willing to assist if you ask.
If your desire is to develop your awareness past your current three- and four-dimensional experience. Then remember that the more you practice, the more your three- and four-dimensional vibration learns how to morph into the fifth dimension. Practice leads to familiarity and familiarity leads toward confidence. Your two worlds will become entrained with one another as you further your path toward expanded awareness.
Enjoy the journey my friend; enjoy the journey.
