The following is a response from Yellow Dog when I questioned the presence of unseen spirits and beings that could influence one’s ability to accurately read a client’s pet or horse…
The sasquatches reported as “seen” by humans are a form of humans that don’t dwell in your realm. They vibrate into your realm out of curiosity, just as your “ghost hunters” may vibrate into their realm. Sometimes a geographical spot retains strong vibrations of their presence. Best to leave this area and focus upon existing somewhere else when doing a reading.
Humans in your culture cannot change everything within their environment. Just as you cannot live within the heat of a volcano, so must you not insist upon building a home above a chaotic vibration created from long ago conflicts, or a geographical space that holds the vibration of unseen beings when there are many other areas available to use instead.
Sometimes the energy of a specific plot of land is simply not conducive for a psychic to open his or her energy to read at. Use your intuition, and if the space feels too polluted, then politely relocate the readings to a field, pasture, or arena. If that doesn’t work, then decline the employment. Life is but a collision of choices…choose wisely.

This is not some new age decorating fad, but rather a way of achieving harmony within the home. This is a way to achieve the proper vibration in a space that will enhance the vibration of the occupant, or for the purpose of this book, the “reader.” But some geographical areas can’t be harmonized using feng shui. Quieted down to a least haunted state, yes, but rendered sacred for a reader, unlikely.
Yellow Dog has shared a memory of a book that I read many years ago, entitled The Hidden Messages in the Water by Masaru Emoto. The gist of that book was to supply an emotion and then photograph how the water would crystalize into ice. Loving emotions had well organized crystals while negative emotions would manifest ice crystals that appeared less beautiful. My computer’s Wikipedia called the book’s content to be “pseudoscientific” based on “exhaustive and wildly unscientific research.” I wonder if the “scientists” who tried to duplicate Emoto’s work contaminated their own experiment with their negative expectations? Could the “nay sayers” hope, or belief, that the scientist’s emotion that Emoto’s work was bogus have influenced their study when they tried to duplicate Emoto’s experiments? Yellow Dog has an answer:
Yes, doing a “blind study” when the human’s emotions while conducting the study are not neutral is a problem. If those same scientists were hypnotized into the same emotion that the water was supposed to achieve, then the results would have been pure. But it is difficult to convince one that emotions are vibrations.
Earth has her own vibration, a piece of land has its own vibration, a rock has a vibration, which may be different from that of another rock. When a person creates a thought that needs to travel through and with the vibration of the area it is best to find harmony. This is why a flowing river is so beneficial toward a sacred space. The flow of the water has a rhythm that entices the flow of thought to follow. The flow of the ground around the river has struggled and succumbed to the rhythm of the flow. Rocks have been “rounded” smooth by the water’s edge, the soil has been churned into mud and rearranged to flow in the direction of the water, and even the grasses and plants have set roots and pathways harmonizing with the water’s flow. All is in harmony around a river. And so, it should be in your sacred space too.
Never display gifts received from guilt, nor gifts given out of necessity. The best gift is one created, or chosen, out of love. The thought of love can be placed within an item. The vibration of an emotion can be instilled within its creation.
Yellow Dog shows me a prayer stick that I had created in a workshop and chose to place in a meditation spot I use outside. Creating a prayer stick is rather easy. Simply think of an intention, something you want to achieve is always good, and then envision all the joy of achieving the task while wrapping colored yarn around a small stick. The repetition of your intention is repeated with every wrap of the yarn. Not unlike repetitive praying when using a string of Catholic rosary beads.
Yellow Dog shares the purpose of this memory:
You see praying is not the regurgitation of spoken words. Rather, praying is holding the desire for an outcome, which can be a mantra of repeated words, or simply, as you described, the thought of accomplishment. The process of creating a prayer stick, or any sacred object, is not as important as the intention of placing sacred into the object.
Choosing items to coincide with the vibration, the feeling, or the culture of what you perceive as a Spirit Guide can also empower a sacred space. A sacred space is very personal, and powerful, for the one who it is intended to support. Allow yourself to choose what you enjoy, allow the space to empower you.
